Juliana Gaviria, a native of Colombia, was raised in a musician family. Her grandfather and father were musicians and teachers, and she began receiving violin lessons from her father at age 6. She pursued a career in music and received a Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance from the University of Southern Mississippi. After discovering her passion for teaching, she decided to pursue aMaster of Music Education.

Ms. Gaviria is and active performer in the area and plays with orchestras such as Pensacola Symphony, Meridian Symphony, Gulf Coast Symphony, and Mobile Symphony.
