Zakary Joyner plays with the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra as a core, section violinist, with the Lafleur Piano Trio, and serves as the concertmaster for the Metropolitan Chamber Orchestra. Apart from teaching violin privately, Zakary has taught after-school strings at the Saint Andrews Episcopal School since 2018. He graduated from Belhaven University with a Bachelor’s in Music in 2018 and an Artist Diploma in 2021, and he received a Master's in Music in Worship Studies from William Carey University in 2023. He will begin a Doctorate of Music in Arts at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary this fall. Zakary also serves as the Continuing Orchestra Fellow on the First Baptist Church of Jackson worship staff.
